Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie didn't get any marriage counseling from Brad's mother Jane Etta Pitt despite a report made by Life & Style magazine. Gossip Cop was told by a source close to the actor that the dramatic report wasn't true.
According to the magazine, the famous couple has been having marriage problems since their marriage last year. Learning that her son's marriage is in trouble, Jane reportedly stepped in to help the couple solve the problems. Jane allegedly decided to give the couple "intense marriage counseling" when they paid a visit to Missouri.
The magazine later on quoted a so-called "family insider" as saying, "[Jane] came down really hard on both of them for not trying hard enough." The source then said Jane believed the couple's marriage issues were "rich Hollywood problems" and "fixable."
Jane allegedly recited Bible verses about love during the supposed marriage counseling session, and asked the actress to "submit" to her husband. The magazine further claimed that Jolie and Pitt were initially "mortified and offended" by Jane's marriage advice, but later on they got "softened after realizing she genuinely had good intentions."
