The film is the couple's first movie collaboration after the 2004 movie "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" - the movie where Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt allegedly fell in love with each other.
"I'd be directing myself and him in a scene where we're having a fight, and I'd be pulling out the parts [of him] that have an aggression toward me or when you're frustrated with each other-it was very heavy," Angelina Jolie said about her upcoming film with Brad Pitt.
The UN ambassador said, "We kept joking that all of the crew felt like they were living in a house where the parents were fighting and you don't know where to stand or where to look."
Are their marriage troubles enough to trigger a divorce? It may not be clear at the moment, but some speculate that if the two don't resolve their issues now, then a divorce is definitely possible.
According to a report, Brad Pitt's mother, Jane, has allegedly taken things into her own hands by intervening and helping her son and daughter-in-law to resolve their differences. After all, it would be her grandchildren who will suffer if Brad and Angie's marriage end up in divorce.
"Jane believes that marriage is a life-long commitment and that all problems are fixable," a source close to the couple's circle reportedly told Life & Style.
"She came down really hard on both of them for not trying hard enough. She told them that a lot of the problems that they see as insurmountable - like career conflicts or fighting about where to live, are rich Hollywood problems. Both Brad and Angelina were embarrassed when she called them vain and selfish."
According to the report, Jane pushed Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to undergo counseling to prevent the possibility of a divorce.
"Brad's mom, Jane, is determined to help them save their relationship, and when they visited her in Missouri for a week, she reportedly ambushed them with some marriage counseling and urged them to try and work out their differences," Celeb Dirty Laundry reported.
